Yakoya: All You Can Eat Shabu-Shabu

Few days ago, I had lunch at a well-known shabu-shabu restaurant located at 30th floor of Graha Mandiri Building, named Yakoya. Yakoya also has 2 other outlets; Kelapa Gading & Arteri Pondok Indah. As you can see from my photos above, the restaurant has an awesome view of Jakarta skyline that makes your lunch more enjoyable!
Chicken Teriyaki Set (55k). The set menu consists of chicken with teriyaki sauce, served with white rice, salad, miso soup, and fresh fruits. I like the texture of the chicken meat, well-seasoned with flavorful teriyaki sauce.
Yakiniku AYCE (149k ++). Unlimited thin sliced beef, ready to be grilled. Here at Yakoya, there are 3 option you can choose for the AYCE choices; Shabu-shabu, Yakiniku, or Suki. In my opinion, their thin sliced beef was nice, tender enough. Don't let the meat overcooked and before enjoy the beef yakiniku, you have to dip in into their special sauce. Anyway about the price comparing to other Shabu-shabu AYCE restaurant, it's really really affordable since you can eat all you can- the beef is unlimited. YUMMEH!
Shabu-Shabu AYCE (149k ++). Unlimited thin sliced shabu-shabu beef, accompanied with a variety of fresh vegetables and udon. Are you drooling yet? So am I. I love how tender the sliced beef was, along with the rich original shabu-shabu broth. My tips are don't swish the beef in the broth too long, after the color changes in around 10 seconds, it's done- then dip it into their special ponzu sauce. Enjoy!!! Btw, I hope Yakoya would add more variety of the broth and also the condiments in the near future so people won't get bored.
Jakarta Banana. A light and fluffy sponge cake with banana-shaped design with a delish custard cream filling. If Tokyo has Tokyo Banana, Jakarta also has Jakarta Banana. Love the soft texture with nice cream filling!
Overall, I really enjoyed my lunch at that time, moreover with the amazing view. My favorite goes to the shabu-shabu, with that affordable price I think the place would be full-packed at lunch and dinner time, especially in this Holy month of Ramadhan. It's such a great deal for your breakfasting idea!
