Zenraku - Dashi Chazuke

Zenraku - Dashi Chazuke is a newly opened Japanese restaurant which serves historical Japanese food called Dashi Chazuke. According to Wikipedia, chazuke itself is a simple Japanese dish made by pouring dashi (Japanese soup stock) over cooked rice and adding all kinds of toppings. The common toppings include Japanese pickles, seaweed, scallions, egg, and meat. Zenraku was brought by the same management with Yamatoten, they always bring something new to Jakarta's food hype.
Ebi Katsu (32k). The ebi katsu was perfectly fried, crispy outside and smooth inside. Not fishy and not oily at all. Definitely a perfect appetizer. However it's a bit pricey for one piece according to the size.
Hiyashi Tomato (28k). Actually I don't eat tomatos, except it was already cooked into sauce such as bolognaise sauce, but this was seriously a different thing. The tomatos were served very fresh and had crispy texture not like ordinary tomatos I find at other places.
Sampler Dashi Chazuke (72k). A tray of 3 sampler bowls of unagi, beef, and chicken dashi chazuke. I was very confused to choose what to order since everything on the menu was so tempting, so I decided to order this because I could try 3 meats at the same time.
Unagi: rice, unagi teriyaki, sliced tamago, edamame, spring onions
Beef: rice, beef sukiyaki, spring onions, fried garlic
Chicken: rice, sliced chicken chashu, sliced tamago, spring onions, amiebi
All of them were served with dashi soup, pickles, and wasabi. My favorite goes to the beef one when the chicken was a bit too dry and the unagi was a bit fishy for my tounge.
Salmon Dashi Chazuke (68k). This consists of rice, aburi salmon, spring onions, mitsuba leaves, sliced nori served with dashi soup, pickles, and wasabi. Personally I really loved the dashi aka the soup which was very rich and enjoyable with or without the rice and toppings. It's such a warm and comforting dish that I can enjoy everyday without getting bored, since it's healthy and delicious at the same time.
How to enjoy Dashi Chazuke :
1. Try the rice with toppings without the soup (dry)
2. Pour the dashi soup to immerse the rice in
3. Enjoy while it's hot
