Hello guys! If you ever saw someone took a picture with artificial floral wall, then you should know it's the only one Eighteen Pies, a chic yet pretty café located at Crown Golf PIK. Actually I've known about this place from several months ago, but didn't get any chance to pay a visit and luckily few days ago I went there. Knowing the decoration has changed into Christmas, I felt a bit disappointed but happy at the same time! Because it means Christmas is coming soon hihi.
Lap Cheong Fried Rice (45k). Chinese Yangchow style fried rice cooked with lapcheong, shrimp, eggs, and fishcake. The taste was nice, salty and flavorful. I really love the presentation, I think this one was one of the prettiest presentation of fried rice lol. They use vintage floral plate and gold cutleries, shabby chic vibes mode on.
Spaghetti Meatball (58k). Housemade beef meatball spaghetti with red sauce based (bolognaise sauce). It consists of 4 pcs meatballs, which were very tender. The bolognaise sauce was okay but honestly I couldn't find something special about this dish so I prefer the fried rice. Anyway I think they should add cheese also.
Lychee Yakult (35k). Basically lychee juice mixed with yakult and basil seed. It has unique taste, sweet enough with a bit sour taste. Freshen my hot day!
Overall, this place could be an option for you to have a Christmas lunch or dinner at PIK area. Even though the place isn't big, they have 2 floors seating. I suggest you to make a RSVP before coming and request the Ground floor seating, since they have big glass so you can take a good picture with natural lighting. Talking about the price, I think it's quite affordable, I meant a fancy café like this you can find a main course under 60k and the portion is quite enough for girls. They not only serve Asian, Indonesian and Western main course but also sandwich, croissant, savory pies, fruit tart, sponge cake, also tea & coffee.
The ambience was nice, Christmas vibes are here already! Especially with the beautiful decoration in every corner, such as Christmas tree, garland, and even a giant teddy bear. 3 words to describe 'em, pretty-chic-white. Yes, the place is dominated with white color, along with marble table & floor. Don't forget to take a picture in front of the entrance door, in front of the christmas tree, and in the center of the cafe.
