New Dishes - Sate Khas Senayan

I've been to Sate Khas Senayan many times and never get bored with their cuisine, especially the famous chicken satay. Few days ago, I had a chance to try their newest creation; 3 dishes of beef menu (Menu Sapi) : Asem-asem Sapi, Kerengsengan Sapi, and Semur Sapi.

Miyagi

Miyagi is a fine Japanese restaurant concept managed by Arena Corps, a leading restaurant group in Indonesia who operates Penang Bistro, Seribu Rasa, Hongkong Café, etc. Miyagi itself has 2 outlets; located at Gandaria City & Lotte Shopping Avenue, and I just heard that they're going to open a new outlet at Lippo Mall Puri. "Classy" was my first impression as I walked into the restaurant.

Chinese

Putien is a humble Chinese restaurant, which serves tasty, simple, yet heart-warming comfort food. No doubt they have many outlets in Asia, such as Singapore, Malaysia, Hongkong, Shanghai, Taiwan, and Guangzhou. Until now, they only have one outlet in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta at Sawah Besar area. Good news for you is they've just renovated their restaurant and changed their concept to be more modern.

Portico Terrace Bistro by Opco is located at Senayan City Ground Floor, you can easily find it because its location which is near the front lobby, with extensive glass design. First impression is the place has a good ambience even though the non-smoking area isn't too big. The semi-outdoor and outdoor area are for the smoking one, and both area have more eye-catching terrace theme interior, which makes you feel comfortable to chill or just have chit chat with your friends.

Yamatoten Abura Soba

Karami Ontama Abura Soba (72k). Abura soba with spicy miso sauce, served with hald-boiled egg, chopped spring onions, sesame seeds, bamboo shoots, dried seaweed, and slices of tender roast pork or chicken (I totally recommended the roast pork). There's a rule how to eat abura soba: first add 2 rounds of vinegar and 2 rounds of chili oil, then mix the noodle in quick circular motion, last eat while it's hot. Don't take a picture too long, because it's best consumed while it's hot! I love the noodle texture, along with the creamy taste. Look at that sexy egg! YUM. Yamatoten abura soba is still one of my favorite soba in Jakarta. Let's see is there any competitor coming up?

Hard Rock Café

American

Hard Rock Café isn't a new comer, it's famous for its unique restaurant theme, as a hard-rock music café. Honestly that was my first time visiting them at Pacific Place, since it used to be located at the closed shopping mall; EX Plaza Indonesia. My first impression was that the café is quite spacious with lots of rock music things and decoration, also a live music stage with drums and instruments.

Yakoya: All You Can Eat Shabu-Shabu

Few days ago, I had lunch at a well-known shabu-shabu restaurant located at 30th floor of Graha Mandiri Building, named Yakoya. Yakoya also has 2 other outlets; Kelapa Gading & Arteri Pondok Indah. As you can see from my photos above, the restaurant has an awesome view of Jakarta skyline that makes your lunch more enjoyable!
