Few days ago, JiF was honored to be invited to the grand opening of Seribu Rasa & Maison Tatsuya at Central Park Mall, managed by Arena Group. Located at the ex-location of the old Maison Tatsuya and Hongkong Café (HKC)- which was also the member of the restaurant group, they came with a new face of Seribu Rasa & Maison Tatsuya. FYI, the location was divided into 2 parts with connected interior, however you can't order dishes from restaurant besides. Let's see their new look!

Last Sunday, JiF got a special privilege to be invited to the grand opening of a new kids-friendly café named, MAMAIN (makan & main = eat & play). JiF was very excited because it was his first time to be invited to a café with that concept. The exciting concept itself was created by its founders, which is a group of young, beautiful, and inspiring moms who had personal experience that hardly find a place to catch up with friends, have a meeting while having the kids around with them. Kabuto Mazesoba is a new comer for soba specialist in our lovely city, Jakarta. Maybe they're not the first, but it doesn't mean they couldn't be the best! As we know, ramen attack happened for the past few years and it seems that it's not popular anymore. Now, I guess soba is the newest phenomenon for Japanese cuisine! From what I got from Google, abura soba and mazesoba are very similar, but usually mazesoba has more toppings than abura. Both are served in a bowl and mixed with tare (type of sauce made from shoyu). In order to make it better, you can add chili oil and vinegar as your liking and mix them very well and enjoy it while it's hot!
