Hasea Eatery - Dharmawangsa

8:00 PM

Another newly opened hidden gem in Dharmawangsa area, called Hasea Eatery. Actually, I've been passed by the restaurant few times and felt curious so today I got a chance to pay a visit. The place might not big, but seems promising for me. Anyway, this is their second outlet, with first outlet at Bintaro.

Jerk Chicken (69k). Fried rice with tomato based, served with grilled chicken and cream sauce. The chicken was well marinated and grilled quite dry but still good to mix with the cream sauce. Even though the fried rice has sour taste, but well-balanced with the grilled chicken. The portion was generous too.

Loco Moco Fried Rice (70k). Loco moco is a Hawaiian dish, basically rice topped with burger patty and fried egg. What unique thing here is they use tomato based fried rice instead of white rice. As you can see from the picture, the rice was spread with the cream sauce, so you have to enjoy it together with the cream sauce in one bite. The burger patty was nice and has soft texture.

Overall, the ambience is super homey, dominated with greeneries and brown colors. They have 2 seating areas, indoor with wooden interior and sofa, outdoor with coffee bar and smoking area. Don't forget to take an OOTD picture in front of the coffee bar! FYI, they open from 7am so you can even enjoy breakfast here!
