The Garden - New Outlet at PIM Street Gallery

The Garden, the famous garden themed café in Jakarta has just opened another new outlet at PIM Street Gallery. From the entrance, you'll be greeted with colorful yet blooming flowers main gate. You'll feel the garden vibes after entering the café, with garden benches, double brick wall, greeneries and pretty flowers inside. They really pay attention to details for the decoration, and you can simply take an instagrammable picture at the main gate! How's the food? Scroll down.
Bad’Ass Fried
Rice (90k). Basically spicy fried rice served with grilled wagyu and onsen egg. Even though the fried rice was a bit oily and spicy, but the beef was well marinated and has juicy yet tender texture. The portion was generous tho, with 8 slices beef- almost covered up the fried rice.
The Wonder Duck Crispy Kecombrang (135k half). Consisting of fragrant rice with kecombrang, half portion crispy duck, urap, and 3 types of chilis : red, green, and matah. As you can see from my photos, the presentation was very unique, they use shovel shaped plate, even the struggle is real LOL. Nowadays, kecombrang is often used on many Indonesian dishes as a compliment which made the rice become more fragrant and flavorful. The crispy duck was delish, crispy and dry but still tender enough. This is one of their best sellers.
Overall, I'm still impressed with their beautiful garden concept. I've been to their first outlet in PIK 2018, and they still maintain their food and service. Loving their beautiful concept, which they pay attention to details. Many restaurants only have great ambience but don't serve good food, but here you can enjoy your delicious meals with garden vibes in the same time. You'd better come here earlier to avoid the waiting list. Anyway, the only thing I think they should improve is their table time limit.
