The WAIT is OVER! Uncle Tetsu finally opened their first outlet in Indonesia, located at Central Park Mall - Jakarta. FYI, Uncle Tetsu is the original Japanese cake shop from Fukuoka, Japan. They have more than 200 shops in more than 11 countries around the world. The grand opening in Jakarta was held on 8th April 2017 and they have special promotion that you can buy their original signature cheese cake with ONLY IDR 8K (normal price IDR 80K) and you'll also get a IDR 30K voucher. No doubt, the queue was crazy yesterday. Luckily, I got a special privilege to be the first to try their cheesecake before the grand opening day.
The secret of their famous cheesecake is that they only use fresh and high quality ingredients, such as the Australian cheese, European butter, and NZ's milk. The cheesecake texture is heavenly soft and fluffy just like cotton! It has a light taste and not too creamy that overpowering. It will be loved not only by young but also old generation.
