MONKS. Finally, l got a chance to visit this happening place few days ago. Well, I rarely stroll around Kelapa Gading area, because of the crazy traffic seriously. In fact, there's lot of great food there. Back to MONKS, I love their minimalist interior combined with woods, white and grey things. So instragrammable! Especially the iconic wall. The place has 3 floors, which the most beautiful one goes to the third floor. I got very comfortable to have lunch here, and I'll be back for sure when I get around here maybe just for coffee. Let me show you first how cool the place is!

Beautiful, isn't it? Let's try the food.

Simply Donburi (70k). Steamed rice topped with sautéed beef, corn kernel, wakame, onsen egg, sliced onion, black sesame, and teriyaki sauce. This should've been a great dish, unfortunately the sauce was a bit too salty and sweet at the same time. The beef was tasty with nice texture. Well, just need to reduce the sauce.

Omurice (65k). Fried rice with minced beef, topped with omelette, served with Japanese curry. A simple omurice which become a comfort Japanese food. The fried rice was delicious, but came with too little meat on it. I couldn't taste the minced beef very well, although the curry was decent. In addition, I suggest them to change the plate, because as you can see the sauce almost spill.

Hot Latte (35k). A nice hot latte, not too strong and came with cute stone cup.
